KHFC Holds a Thesis Competition for its 20th Anniversary Special Issue of the Housing Finance Research Journal

The Korea Housing Finance Corporation(HF, CEO Choi Joon Woo) announced on February 28 that it holds a thesis competition for the Special Issue of ‘Housing Finance Research’, its periodic academic journal, to mark its twenty-year anniversary.  Selected research is to be published in the second half of this year. 

The ‘HF Housing Finance Research’ was first published in 2017 with aims to spur housing finance research and contribute to the development for housing welfare policy. In 2023, the academic journal was selected as the listed academic journals on the Korea Citation Index(KCI).

Applicable paper should be on the real estate, including the market, related policies, finance, products, IT, appraisal, or the system. Any researchers, including graduate students, are invited to join the competition.

The application starts today and closes on April 16(Tues). Applicants can submit the electronic copies of their papers to “submission.e-hfr.org”, the KHFC Housing Finance Research online submission system.  

Authors of selected papers are rewarded with KRW three million per thesis. One best and two second winners of the competition receive KRW two million and one million respectively, in addition to the manuscript fees.
