HF commended by the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs for promoting welfare for veterans’ families

- HF recognized for enhancing housing welfare for national merit recipients

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Choi Joon-Woo) announced on June 26 that it received commendation from the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs for its leadership in enhancing welfare for veterans' families during Patriots and Veterans Month.

The commendation recognizes organizations that contribute to improving the welfare of and honoring veterans and other national merit recipients through social contributions. The evaluation criteria include contributions to national development, enhancement of citizens' quality of life, and customer satisfaction.

HF was acknowledged for its related efforts, such as reducing the housing burden with lower guarantee rates for personal guarantee products used by national merit recipients and providing preferential interest rates for housing mortgage loans like Bogeumjari Loans. Its ‘HF Honor House’ initiative, launched last year, has notably contributed to enhancing housing welfare for veterans by renovating and repairing homes for war veterans. 

CEO Choi Joon-Woo expressed gratitude, stating, “We deeply appreciate the recognition of HF's social contribution efforts. Moving forward, we remain committed to leading initiatives that improve housing welfare for veterans and their families, honoring the sacrifice of those dedicated to our nation.”
