HF Hires New Staff for 2023

- With applications open through September 12, HF discloses all hiring information on its webpage

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Choi Joon-Woo) announced on August 22, 2023, that it will hire 26 new entry-level staff members for 2023 through competency-based open recruitment.

The new positions will target ▲ 21 college graduates (16 Business Administration and Economics graduates and five IT  graduates), ▲ two special positions (one with disabilities and the other for those entitled to patriot and veteran benefits), and ▲ three high school graduates (two Business Administration and Economics graduates and one IT graduate). In addition, extra points and other forms of preferential treatment will be given to the socially disadvantaged, including those on the Basic Livelihood Security program or from single-parent families, as part of HF’s efforts to promote equity and inclusion in its recruitment.

Applications will be open on the HF recruitment webpage* through September 12, 2023 (Tuesday), until 5pm, and the successful finalists selected through ▲ paper-based screening (pass or fail), ▲ a written test**, and ▲ two rounds of interviews will begin working at HF in December.

** Those holding a Korean Lawyer License, KICPA License, and Korean Actuary License to be exempt from the written test

To offer opportunities to a broad range of job seekers, HF welcomes all applicants to join the paper-based screening, with the exception of those with inadequate or fraudulent documentation. The college-level administration exam no longer includes financial and economic subjects (business administration and economics). Instead, the NCS vocational basic skills assessment is being introduced.

An HF official said, "We have newly created an 'Applicant Guidance Manual' and have established the principle of full disclosure of hiring information to enhance our applicants' right to know. Our aim is to provide ample opportunities for candidates to showcase their skills, ultimately attracting the best talent to our organization."

With its compassionate recruitment approach of actively listening to feedback and suggestions from job seekers, HF has become the first public institution honored four years in a row in the Fair and Blind Recruitment Best Practice Contest for its outstanding fair and blind recruiting practices.
