HF Provides KRW 24.9 Trillion in Special Bogeumjari Loans as of the End of May

- The amount goes up to KRW 36.7 trillion with canceled and non-approved loan applications included


Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Choi Joon-Woo) revealed on June 5, 2023, that as of May 31, 2023, it has received valid Special Bogeumjari Loan applications (around 106,000 applications) amounting to KRW 24.9 trillion. 


 ㅇ This figure does not include KRW 11.8 trillion worth of applications (approximately 55,000 applications) that were either canceled or rejected due to reasons such as inadequate qualifications during the evaluation process, bringing the total to KRW 36.7 trillion in Special Bogeumjari Loan applications received (around 161,000 applications).


Currently, the breakdown of Special Bogeumjari Loan users benefiting from lower interest rates is 98.0% for Akkim e-Type (including t-Type), 58.2% for Preferential Type, 18.8% for low-income youth, and 9.0% for newlyweds and socially underprivileged groups such as those with multiple children. Additionally, starting in June, individuals affected by jeonse fraud will receive an extra 0.4 percentage points in reduced interest.
