HF became the first financial public institution to obtain ISO

for Compliance Management System

- Enhance public trust with robust ethical corporate management system

Korea Housing Finance Corporation(HF, CEO Choi Joon Woo) said on Oct 28 that been acknowledged for its efforts to establish robust compliance policies and risk management system, it became the first public financial institution that obtains ‘ISO 37301’, an international standard certificate for Compliance Management Systems*. <Photo attached>

* Corporate management system requirements and guidelines on the compliance policies and risk management systems across the board, for which international standard was developed by International Organization for Standardisation(ISO) in April, 2021.

Since establishing “Ethical Corporate Management Consultative Body’ with its CEO as a chair in May to promote corporate culture of integrity and transparency, HF has worked to establish ethical management system for compliance and risk management by preparing ethical management policies and manual, conducting risk assessment, and management review.

HF CEO Choi said, “For a public institution for which public trust is imperative, developing compliance corporate management system is of essence. By operating the system aligned with previously obtained ISO 37001(Anti-bribery Management Systems), we will further promote the corporate culture of integrity and transparency, thereby further wining the public trust.”
