HF works with a social economy enterprise to better support youths

-  Provides hygiene product kits to underprivileged youth while creating work opportunities for seniors

Korea Housing Finance Corporation(HF, CEO Choi Joon Woo) said on Oct 21 that in collaboration with a local social economy enterprise, it delivered contribution money to ChildFund Korea(Busan Branch Program manager, Noh Hee Heon) to support youths from low-income families in the region. HF plans to send hygiene product kits(sanitary pads and heat packs), prepared by the social economy enterprise*, to 280 female youth from low-income families in the city, recommended by ChildFund Korea. The program also creates chances to work for ten seniors, recommended by the regional Senior Club, by having them to prepare the kit.

HF said, ”By working with a social economy enterprise, which has contributed to local communities in supporting underprivileged youth in Busan, we are actively seeking to promote mutual prosperity and close cooperation with the local communities.
