HF takes a lead to improve residential environment for the underprivileged  

- ‘HF Clean House’; Cleaning and disinfection services for the disadvantaged

Korea Housing Finance Corporation(HF, CEO Choi Joon Woo) announced on August 29 that it donated contributions to the Busan Community Chest of Korea (Chairperson Choi Geum Sik) for ‘HF Clean House Program’, as parts of its CSR activities to improve residential conditions for the socio-economically disadvantaged in the city. In cooperation with the Busan Community Chest of Korea (Chairperson Choi Geum Sik) and the Regional Self-Reliance Support Center Busan Branch(Director Goo Chang Woo), HF sets to offer cleaning and disinfection services to 252 underprivileged households mostly composed of the disabled and single seniors, recommended by the Busan Welfare Center Association.

In addition, HF decided to provide working opportunities to 133 people* listed on the Regional Self-Reliance Support Center, by tapping into their labors in cleaning and other residential condition improvement works.

* Those who receive the national basic livelihood support subsidies and low-income   groups determined to get back on their feet through working. 

HF CEO Choi commented, ”We hope this CSR program can help more people to have  decent residential conditions.  HF will continue various CSR efforts to fulfill its social responsibilities. “

On August 29, Korea Housing Finance Corporation donated ‘HF Clean House Program’ contributions to the Busan Community Chest of Korea, located in Dong-gu, Busan.
