HF donated contributions for the recovery of heavy rainfall-stricken regions

-  HF employees and executives made voluntary contributions to help the recovery of the affected areas and the suffers

Korea Housing Finance Corporation(HF, CEO Choi Joon Woo) announced on 23 August that it donated KRW 50million to the Community Chest of Korea (Busan Branch Chairperson Choi Geum Sik) to expedite restoration of the areas and support victims in areas hit hard by the recent heavy rainfalls in Seoul and metropolitan areas, Gangwon, and Chungcheong regions.

HF employees and executives voluntarily donated money to help those in the disaster-hit regions to go back to the normalcy fast. The contributions are to be used to support livelihood of the flood victims and provide relief supplies for them.

HF CEO Choi commented, ”We decided to join the donation campaign to support expedient restoration of the regions devastated by the sudden downpours and return to the normalcy of flood victims. HF will keep an eye on the disaster situation and continue relief support activities. “

In the meantime, HF has engaged in various nation-wide relief campaigns, helping the victims of earthquakes in Pohang in 2017, wildfires in Gangwon and the east coast in 2019 and 2022, respectively.
