HF presents carnations to older adults living alone

- In celebration of Parents’ Day, HF shows its respect and gratitude to seniors in Busan 

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Choi Joon Woo) announced on May 4, 2022, that in celebration of Parents’ Day, it held a ceremony to honor older adults living alone by presenting them with carnations. The ceremony was held at Jaeseongdae Senior Welfare Center (Director Lee Eun Sook) located in Dong-gu, Busan  <see image below>.

HF also made a KRW 10 million donation to Busan Association of Senior Welfare Centers (President Park Si Woo) and Busan Comprehensive Support Center for the Elderly Living Alone (Director Park Sun Hee), giving the carnations to 4,000 older adults living alone in need of emotional support due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic as a token of its appreciation.

HF CEO Choi said, “In this Family Month, we held this event to show our respect and thanks for our elders and ease their feelings of loneliness. HF will continue our various social contribution efforts to ensure a happy retirement for senior citizens.”
