Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Choi Joon Woo) held a ceremony to launch the 7th HF College Student Volunteer Group in the Legacy Theatre of Busan Citizens Park on May 3, 2022.

Consisting of 30 college students, the HF College Student Volunteer Group is divided into the ▲ housing welfare, ▲ senior welfare, and ▲ village welfare teams. These teams will plan and implement volunteer activities to revitalize local communities in Busan and improve their living environments.

The event marked the joint launch of the HF College Student Volunteer Group and a college student volunteer group of the Busan Volunteer Center (Director Baek Soon Hee), which will carry out their social contribution activities until this December.

□ An HF official said, “We are grateful to our college student volunteers, who practice the spirit of sharing for our neighbors in need although they are busy with their school work and job searches. HF will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility to contribute to the development of our local communities.”

□ Last year’s HF College Student Volunteer Group ▲ installed insect nets to help those living in poor housing prepare for the hot summer days and ▲ provided indoor gardening support for the emotional wellness of older adults living alone.
