HF provides Covid-19 Home Care Kits for Child Welfare Centers

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Choi Joon Woo) provides Covid-19 Home Care Kits for children who are having difficulties in the pandemic treatment.

HF said on February 23 that it plans to work with the ChildFund Korea(Program manager of Busan Branch, Noh Hee Heon) to send Covid-19 Home Care Kits, consist of pulse oximeter, clinical thermometers, fever-reducing medicines, etc. to child welfare centers in Busan.

The move comes from the context that the recent surge in Covid-19 cases led to the shortage of hospital resources, making home treatment common, but at-home treatment kits are mainly provided to intensive care group*, not general care group.

* Those aged 60 years & older, and ‘those under medication’, whom regarded as in need for intensive care by local authorities.
