Preferential Rate Bogeumjari Loans Maturing in 10 and 15 Years Now Available

On April 21, KHFC launched preferential rate bogeumjari loans maturing in 10 and 15 years, which bear lower interest rates and have a lower repayment burden.

Bogeumjari loan interest rates used to be 6.8% p.a. (6.85% for 30-year maturity). They are varied by maturity and the fixed rates for bogeumjari loans maturing in 10 and 15 years are 6.6% and 6.7%, respectively.

While the interest rates were lowered, a higher repayment ratio at maturity now applies (up to 75% for 10-year maturity and up to 60% for 15-year maturity loans).  The grace period is extended from one year to up to three years regardless of maturity to ease the borrower's liabilities in repaying the principal and interest.  Previously, a three-year grace period was allowed only for a 30-year maturity loan.
